The idea

DAY14 is a browser game about making difficult choices with imperfect information. Ordinary British food, transport, tools and comforts become Andy’s survival kit. Some choices look sensible until the disaster arrives. Others become surprisingly useful.

You build the kit, lock it in and watch a fictional survival journal unfold. There is no guaranteed recipe. Finishing two weeks is meant to feel like an achievement.

Meet Andy

Andy is a fictional character created for DAY14: an optimistic British survivor with a rucksack and a deeply uncertain fortnight ahead. His adventures and survival journals are invented for the game.

Real products, fictional survival ratings

Andy and his adventures are fictional. Names such as Spam and Fray Bentos identify real, familiar products; their illustrations are original drawings made for this game. No sponsorship, association or endorsement by the product makers is implied. Food allowances and survival effects are invented game ratings, not claims about the real products.
